This morning on The Morning Woodward Show, Joey, Stick, & Krissy recapped MNF, Gov. Whitmer extending lockdown for 12 more days, and Detroit Dog Rescue brought in puppies that need rescuing! If you missed the whole show you can watch it again right here.
The Bills snapped their winless streak with a 34-17 victory over the 49ers behind wide receiver Cole Beasley, who set a career high with 130 yards where 113 of them came in the first half.
The Steelers lost to The Washington Football Team last night which made this their second loss in 17 seasons after leading by atleast 14 points. This is their first loss of the 2020 season.
Whitmer Extends Michigan Lockdown
Yesterday evening, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer extended her statewide partial lockdown order through December 20th in response to “alarmingly high” coronavirus infection rates.
Apparently, the extension is a result of Thanksgiving gatherings which spread the virus quicker than we’ve ever seen it before.
The original “Pause to Save Lives” order was set to expire at 11:59pm Tuesday night, but is now extended for an additional 12 days. This means we’re under lockdown until December 20th and at this point its okay to put tequila in your coffee.
Detroit Dog Rescue
So it’s official! Every Wednesday we will have Detroit Dog Rescue bring in some of their pups to show you on camera to hopefully get them adopted! We’ve mentioned before and we’ll mention it again because this is my favorite part about their organization; they are the only no-kill shelter in Michigan.
The cool thing is, you can also donate to the shelter through us! Venmo us at @woodwardsports and label it DDR and we’ll send it right to them so they can start feeding as many dogs as possible!
