ICYMI: Watch The Morning Woodward Show 12/14

This morning, Joey, Stick, & Krissy recapped the Lion’s game last night, showed everyone what $5,000 in toy donations looks like, and revealed they will be living in the studio for the next 5 days! If you missed the whole show you can watch it all here.

Packers Beat Lions 31-24

Game 2 with Quinntricia gone and the Green Bay Packers took the Detroit Lions by 31-24. Packer’s defense sacked Matthew Stafford four times in the first half but on one second-half touchdown drive, the Packers defense had five penalties.
Green Bay won by only seven points but mostly controlled the game and Stafford might be out for the rest of the season with a rib injury.

Meijer Donated $5,000 In Toys To WSN

We can’t even begin to thank one of our favorite Michigan based companies enough, Meijer, for their huge contribution to our Stuff A Studio promotion. More specifically, a huge shout out to the Royal Oak location for donating $5,000 to us so that we could go shopping for toys to give to Mott’s Children Hospital this Christmas. Like we said earlier, we’re just getting started!

Woodward Sports Stuff A Studio Promotion

I think we can all agree that this Christmas looks and feels a lot different than past holidays. However, past holidays for some children still looked just as tough as this year’s and we want to help change that. Today we kicked off our big Stuff A Studio promotion where our morning crew from The Morning Woodward Show is going to live in the studio 24/7 this week collecting toys at all hours of the day and night. This allows us to never miss a donation drop off weather it’s at 9pm, 1am or 4am (the dedication is REAL). We’re collecting as many toys as we can to possibly fill up our entire studio to bring over to local charity’s and Mott’s Children Hospital so we need your help! Drop off a toy, donation, or even just drop by and say hi because this is supposed to be fun! We also have a venmo you can send your donations through if you’re too far away or covid is of concern to you (@woodwardsports).

P.s we’re also collecting donations for pup’s through Detroit Dog Rescue! Drop some doggy items by the studio or use our same venmo (@woodwardsports) to donate to their animals. Just label your venmo with DDR so we make sure we get it to the right place and we can’t thank you enough for participating!
