2021 NBA Mock Draft 1.0

Last night was 2021 NBA Draft Lottery on the Woodward Sports Network. Teams who did not make the playoffs found out where their team will draft for the first round in the draft. The Detroit Pistons were the winners of the lottery. The Pistons will have the number one pick.

Following them are the Houston Rockets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and then the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors moved up in the lottery and only had an 8.5% chance of winning the fourth pick.

With the Pistons earning the number one pick, the team will most likely draft top prospect Cunnigham. Cunningham played his college ball at Oklahoma State. He was one of the elite college basketball players to watch. Cunningham is known to be a high-volume shooter who averaged 20.1 points per game. Also, he shot 40.3% from the field and 43.8% of three-point land.

The Pistons will keep a very close eye on Cunnigham as the draft nears at the end of July. But for now, here is the Woodward Sports mock draft for the top 10 picks post lottery.

1. Detroit Pistons – Cade Cunningham

That could be very dangerous as the Raptors hope to have a bounce-back season next year.

With the Orlando Magic having two lottery picks. The Magic has lots of options to choose from. Another player that can help the Magic is Keon Johnson. Johnson is known on the court for his two-way playing ability. He brings physically on the defensive end and a boost on the offensive end. Johnson could team up in the backcourt with raising player Cole Anthony. In the future, the two can be one of the best duos in the back in the NBA.

9. Sacramento Kings- Moses Moody

SG- Alabama- 18 Years Old- 6’6″

The Sacramento Kings are back in the lottery once again. Last season, the Kings got a steal in the draft by selecting Tyrese Haliburton.
