The Bucks are the 2021 NBA Champions

For the first time since 1971, the Milwaukee Bucks are NBA Champions. The Bucks were underdogs going into the series against the Phoenix Suns. But after being down 2-0, the Buck turned it around and won four straight games in a row to win the chip.

All of the players on the Bucks stepped up and played their roles. Guard Jrue Holiday was one of the critical x-factors for the Bucks in the Finals. Holiday was the facilitator for the Bucks with his high passing IQ. He averaged 9.0 assists per in the series. Including having 13 assists in game 5.

Another critical x-factor for the Bucks was all-star Kris Middleton. He stepped up big time for the Bucks in the Finals. Middleton averaged 25.4 points per game while shooting 44.6% from the field in the series. Many critics believe that Middleton could help the Bucks ever win a championship in the past few years. And now, Middleton shut those critics up and provide why he is such a great player! Especially shooting the ball lights out.

Giannis fullfills his promise

The MVP of the NBA Finals, Giannis Antetokounmpo, had a historic final. After getting knock out of the playoffs year after year. Giannis finally brought home a championship to Milwaukee. In the Finals, he averaged 32.2 points, 13.0 rebounds, and 5.6 assists per game. Tonight, he was lights out to close out the series. Giannis scored the sixth most points in a finals game with 50 points and blocked 5 shots.

While Giannis’s statistics in these Finals will always be remembered. Fans will never forget his hustle plays on the court. From his block on Ayton to his alley-oop from Holiday. Those are the memories that fans will never forget.

The next calendar event for the NBA is the draft. The 2021 NBA Draft is set for Thursday, July 29th.
