Congratulations if you won some money on Brian Ortega! He went into the fight with Korean Zombie as an underdog, but on fight night looked like he should have been the favorite.
You could argue that was the best Brian Ortega we have ever seen. He has made clear improvements in his striking. Expect a title fight against Alexander Volkanovski in the near future.
As far as the co-main event Jessica Andrade won by TKO against Kaitlyn Chookagian. She beat the number one ranked flyweight contender & she should expect to possibly fight the winner of the Valentina Shevchenko vs Jennifer Maia title fight. Although it was Andrade’s debut at Flyweight she proved she made the right choice by moving up in weight.
This Saturday is UFC 254 which is arguably the biggest card of 2020. Sure, McGregor isn’t on the card, but who needs McGregor when you’ve got Khabib vs Gaethje! Although McGregor is a star for the UFC, I’m willing to bet UFC 254 will do massive numbers. More on that card coming later this week!
