Taylor Lewan is known for his outspoken support of the Wolverines.
Since being drafted by the Tennessee Titans in 2014, the former University of Michigan football player and the current Co-Host of Barstool’s “Bussin’ with the Boys,” annually engages in trash talk about the Michigan-Ohio State rivalry.
Recently, he made a bet with former Titans running back Eddie George. George is now the head coach at Tennessee State and a former Heisman Trophy winner for Ohio State.

The bet involved George publicly donning a Michigan uniform and singing the Wolverines’ fight song, “The Victors,” if Michigan won. Michigan’s 45-23 victory over Ohio State on November 26th was a dominant performance.
Lewan finally got to collect on the bet via a video of George in a Michigan uniform singing the fight song.

Both Michigan and Ohio State are currently in the College Football Playoff. There remains the possibility of a rematch in the national championship game. Michigan will play TCU in the Fiesta Bowl semifinal on December 31st at 4 p.m. ET, while Ohio State will play Georgia in the Peach Bowl at 8 p.m. Finally, the winners of these games will meet at the SoFi Stadium on January 9th to settle the debate on the country’s best team.

Taylor Lewan, a three-time Pro Bowler, has started in 100 games for the Titans over the past nine seasons. He is currently the longest-tenured member of the team, however, he has not played this season since tearing his ACL in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills. This is the second time in three seasons that Lewan has suffered a torn ACL and undergone surgery. He also sustained a lateral meniscus injury, but has described the recovery process as smooth compared to his previous ACL rehabilitation.
The Titans have Lewan under contract for one more season with a cap hit of $14.8 million. There has been speculation that they may release him to free up salary cap space. Lewan has said that retirement may be a consideration, as well. He has publicly stated that Nashville is a happy home for his growing family. He is enjoying the success of his podcast with former teammate Will Compton, and plans to focus on it full-time when his playing days are over.
