The Detroit Red Wings are now through 15 games in the 2022 season. After what has been an exciting start under new Head Coach Derek Lalonde, Detroit has somewhat been brought back down to reality.

The Red Wings are a team still in the process of  building a contender. Still a few pieces away meanwhile battling the salary cap disaster that was left for Steve Yzerman. In addition to this, the product on the ice has been night and day compared to under former Head Coach Jeff Blashill. Detroit shows up every night, although some outcomes haven’t been pretty. The energy level and their will to compete shows every single night.

These are stats comparing the Red Wings through the first 15 games under both Coach Blashill and Coach Lalonde. While the product on the ice has been different, the stats through 15 games are merely the same.
