Masvidal vs Diaz 2 might actually happen! UFC President Dana White confirmed that the organization is working on a sequel to the massive 2019 fight. White didn鈥檛 go into much detail regarding the rematch between the BMF title holder and the Stockton gangster, but he did say the UFC is working on making the fight happen. Sure, this fight isn鈥檛 100% confirmed, but this rumor counts for something considering White turned down the same rumor just a couple months ago. After some sources claimed the fight might take place at UFC 256, MMA reporter Ariel Helwani shot those rumors down stating the UFC is planning on having the BMF rematch take place in January.
Usman vs Burns and Masvidal vs Diaz on the same card would be foolish of the UFC. The UFC would lose money if they booked both fights on the same night. Masvidal vs Diaz pull big PPV numbers, so it would only make sense to have them headline their own card. It will be interesting to see if this fight actually happens.
