47

The Detroit Lions announced multiple roster moves on Monday. The Lions welcome wide receiver Avery Davis and center Alex Mollette to Detroit. However, with new additions come departures, leading to the waiving of wide receiver Trey Quinn who has been dealing with an injury.

WR Avery Davis: An undrafted talent from Notre Dame in 2021, Davis makes a swift return to the Lions, having been waived just five days prior on August 9.

C Alex Mollette: He was most recently with the Houston Roughnecks in the XFL. Mollette earned All-XFL honors and was a key piece on the Roughnecks offensive line that boasted the second-best rushing attack in the XFL.

WR Trey Quinn: His stint with the Lions was brief. Signing on July 28, Quinn managed a single catch for eight yards against the Giants in the recent preseason opener.
