Fantasy Football Start Week 5 – Stick’s Picks

94

Fantasy Football Week 5 is here! So far this season barring injury my picks have been pretty spot on. Lets see if I can keep the hot streak going this week and help you get to 3-2!

I am taking a few gambles this week but I think they will pay off! If you have one of these guys on your Fantasy Football team you should be starting them. Week 5 is here and here are my picks.

QB

Drew Brees – The last 2 weeks have seen Brees throw for 534 passing yards and five scores. That trend is going to continue on Monday Night Football vs the LA Chargers. The Chargers have let up the 5th most fantasy points to QB’s so far this season. Michael Thomas may be coming back this week, providing another great weapon. I can see Brees going for over 300 yards and 3 TD’s in this game

RB

Kareem Hunt – The loss of Nick Chubb immediately jumps Kareem Hunt up into the Top 5 running back category. I know this week he is going up against the Top Rated Colts D. In fantasy football that is sometimes a good thing for a pass catching back like Hunt. He will see a lot of check downs from Baker Mayfield. Lets not forget what he Kareem did in KC when he was the featured guy. This could be the first of many big games.

WR

Amari Cooper – Cooper has always been a streaky Fantasy Football WR. Huge game one week, average the next. This season he has shown a lot of consistency. He broke out last game against the Brown with 12 catches for 134 yards and a TD. Cooper is going to face a Giants D that hasn’t been able to stop mediocre WR’s, I expect Amari to have back to back monster games. I don’t think he will see the 16 targets he saw last week, but 12 isn’t out of the question.

TE

Eric Ebron – Yes, that Eric Ebron. I don’t love him from his time here in Detroit. But, the Pittsburg Steelers are making good use of his skill set. His targets have increased every week this season. He’s gone from 2 to 5 to 7. I like the way they are bringing him into the offense. Plus after what Kittle did to the Eagles last week, I’m starting every TE I can against them.

Good luck in Week 5. We will find out if my hot steak is still going!
