Fantasy Football Waiver Wire Week 12

31

Fantasy Football week 12 is here! The Playoffs are about 2 weeks away and here are the waiver wire pick ups that could give your team a boost!

Fantasy Football Week 12 is one of the most important weeks of the year. Sure, half the league is fighting for their lives with only 2 games left in most formats. But week 12 also always seems to have a waiver wire pick up that ends up being critical in the fantasy playoffs. So whether you need someone to get you the win this week or someone that proves valuable during the playoffs, they’re out there in your leagues, so pay attention and make sure you end up with one of them!

QUARTERBACK Fantasy Football Week 12

Taysom Hill – NO

Personally, I think Hill is the guy that turns the tide for one team in your league. The guy who lost Dak or the guy going between Stafford and Cousins is desperate for someone like Hill. The 30 year old first time starter for New Orleans showed he can throw the rock, as well as put up big rushing numbers. I see big things for Hill to finish the 2020 fantasy season.

Andy Dalton – DAL

The Red Rocket is back on the list as he successfully returned from injury last Sunday to the tune of 203 yards and 3 td’s. The Dallas offense was desperate for anything that could turn their season around and inject some life into them. Dalton definitely did that for them. Look for the offense as a whole to benefit from Dalton to finish the season.

RUNNING BACK Fantasy Football Week 12

Gus Edwards – BAL

The 3 headed running back monster in Baltimore lost 2 of it’s heads to Covid this week. If Ingram and Dobbins both sit, Gus Edwards is a strong bet for RB2+ production. It might only be a week, but you never know with Covid related stuff, so add him and smile.

Chris Carson – SEA

This one seems obvious or ridiculous. If Carson made it to your waiver wire somehow, it’s actually  BOTH…it’s ridiculous someone waived him, and it’s obvious that you need to pick him up. Just like Taysom, he could be a championship piece for you. See if he’s there and add him if he is.

WIDE RECEIVER Fantasy Football Week 12

Allen Lazard – GB

Aaron Rodgers’ 2nd favorite target made his way back from core surgery in week 11. He didn’t make much noise, but Lazard still drew 4 targets while being kept on a low pitch count. I expect him to get full run in week 12 and for the remainder of the season. That means high end WR3 production and possibly more. If Davonte Adams goes down, Lazard becomes an instant WR1.

Nelson Agholor – LV

Agholor has quietly asserted himself as the WR1 in Las Vegas. There aren’t many WR1’s available on waiver wires at this point in the season…so if he’s on yours, you should definitely scoop him up. Waller is the #1 target for the Raiders, but Agholor has still gotten enough work to start in most lineups.

TIGHT END Fantasy Football Week 12

Dalton Schultz – DAL

I don’t see any tight ends emerging that are roster savers this week. If you missed the Logan Thomas boat, Schultz is a decent consolation prize. The return of Andy Dalton brings some shine back to Schultz. Don’t expect huge results, but he can be your TE2.

Robert Tonyan – GB

Lazard’s return takes away some targets, but it will also open up the middle of the field as Lazard draws consistent attention from both safeties. He is hit or miss from week to week, but he has a wonderful ceiling when he hits.
