Fantasy Football Week 10 Sit/Start List

78

Fantasy Football Week 10 is here. Playoffs are just around the corner. Every win and loss now is more important than ever! Here is Anson’s sit/start list!

So Dallas has a bye this week…who the hell do you sit/start if Dallas is on a bye? Well…basically anyone playing Seattle, Jacksonville, Atlanta, the Jets….etc. Your team might be hurting from injury and the bye week, but the matchups are out there to get a Win in Fantasy Football Week 10.

QUARTERBACK Fantasy Football Week 10

START

Justin Herbert – LAC (Rookie)

If Herbert isn’t starting for you already, now is the time. He takes on the Dolphins this week, who sit 22nd in fantasy football points allowed. I expect a high scoring game, and since the Chargers backfield is a mess, I see most of the points on LA’s side, coming through the air. Get the rookie in your lineup and leave him there!

Also Consider Starting…
Tua Tagovailoa MIA – The Chargers are 25th against QB’s Jared Goff LAR – The Rams get the worst passing defense in football, the Seahawks

SIT

Joe Burrow – CIN (Rookie)

The 4th best defense in the league is what the rookie has to deal with this sunday. This is the biggest test of the young signal caller’s career. He will compete I’m sure, but he better not be in your lineup. Too many things can go wrong against the Steeler D.

Also consider Sitting… Cam Newton NE – He has been mostly bad, and figures to be worse against the Ravens. Kirk Cousins MIN – Chicago’s defense is one to stay away from when possible

RUNNING BACKS Fantasy Football Week 10

START

Miles Sanders – PHI

Sanders might have been able to play in Week 8 before the Eagles Week 9 Bye. That tells me he is nice and healed up and ready to dominante RB touches against the Giants. The Giants are 24th against RB’s this season. That’s a prescription to Start Sanders this week.

Also consider starting… Antonio Gibson WAS – He plays the Lions. Mike Davis CAR – CMC is out again and that means Mike catches 8+ balls on Sunday.

SIT

JK Dobbins/Mark Ingram/Gus Edwards – BAL

Individually I love each of these guys. But with Ingram looking to return to the lineup, I would stay away from all of these guys until a true #1 shakes out. I don’t actually see that happening anytime soon. Stay away in the meantime.

Also consider sitting…
Chris Carson Sea – Give him a week before getting him back into your starting lineup Cam Akers/Darrell Henderson/Malcolm Brown LAR – See Baltimore Running Backs above

WIDE RECEIVERS Fantasy Football Week 10

START

Cooper Kupp LAR

Once again, the Rams face off with Seattle in Week 10. Kupp has kind of been forgotten in fantasy
this season, as James Woods has been the red zone guy. But I’m not buying that. Kupp was targeted 20 times in Week 8 before their Week 9 BYE. Read the tea leaves…they’re saying Kupp is gonna be a big weapon in the 2nd half this year.

Also consider starting…
Jerry Juedy DEN – I probably should have focused on Juedy over Kupp. Love them both going forward.
Brandin Cooks HOU – He gets the 28th ranked Browns’ defense in Week 10

SIT

Darius Slayton NYG

Slayton is supposed to be the WR1 in this offense…isn’t he? Sterling Sheppard doesn’t feel that way and he will continue to steal production from Slayton. Add in a shadow named Darius Slay that will be following him most of the day, and that tells me sit Slayton. Get him on your bench until Sheppard gets hurt again.

Also consider sitting… Marvin Jones DET – It’s a Trap! Curtis Samuel CAR – The Touchdown Mojo ends this week.

TIGHT END Fantasy Football Week 10

START

Evan Engram NYG

The Wide Receiver situation in New York is one to avoid for sure. But that doesn’t mean the same for Evan Engram. He has seen a steady increase in involvement over the last 3 weeks. This week he gets the Philly defense who is bottom 5 in the league against TEs. This is a tasty matchup for Engram.

Also consider starting… TJ Hockenson DET – He needs to be in your lineup for the rest of the season Austin Hooper CLE – He is back healthy to soak up Odell’s targets

SIT

Rob Gronkowski TB

His target share took a 7% hit with Godwin and Antonio Brown in the lineup last week. I expect that trend to get even worse for Gronk as Brown works his way fully into the offense. It’s gonna be a total crap shoot betting on who gets the targets from Tom Brady week to week…too many mouths to feed.

Also consider sitting… Robert Tonyan GB – Too inconsistent and now he’s banged up as well Tyler Higbee LAR – Seattle is actually good at defending the TE position
