White crushed the dreams of MMA fans after announcing that Ferguson vs Poirier was not happening. The UFC is currently searching for a new opponent for Ferguson, but time is running out. Poirier announced on Twitter that he was heading back to Louisiana after failed negotiations with the MMA leader.
UFC 254 was the rumored card that Ferguson vs Poirier were supposed to fight on, but that looks like a slim chance at this point. As Dana White would say “We’ll see how this plays out”.
