Tony Ferguson is set to face Charles Oliveira this Saturday at UFC 256 but the former interim champ is threatening to pull out should Oliveira miss weight. Ferguson took to Instagram to make it clear that he’s not playing around when it comes to making 155lbs. Ferguson stated he will pull out of the fight should Oliveira miss weight by more than 3 pounds…

Oliveira Responds to Ferguson Weight Remarks

Charles Oliveira wasted no time responding to Fergson’s threats. During the UFC Virtual Media Day on Wednesday, Oliveira pushed back at Ferguson and stated that El Cucuy needs to worry about making weight himself…

“Tony needs to worry about his own weight. It’s up to me what i do with my team. I have a ten year history in the UFC. I’ve learned a lot from my mistakes. He’s not the boogyman like everyone says.”

Charles Oliveira

Ferguson does have a point though considering Oliveira has missed weight 4 times in his MMA career. The biggest miss was against Ricardo Lamas in which Oliveira missed the mark by 9 pounds. Since returning to Lightweight division in 2017 Oliveira has made the 155lb mark every time.
