Chris Spielman Joins Lions As Special Assistant to Chairman & President & CEO
The Detroit Lions just announced that former linebacker Chris Spielman is joining the team as Special Assistant to Chairman and President & CEO.
After spending 8 years with the Detroit Lions as a second round draft pick in 1988, Spielman led the team to NFC North (then Central) division titles as well as an appearance in the 1992 NFC Championship Game. Spielman was not only a team captain and a Pro Bowler but he was also a team MVP.
