What the hell is happening in the NBA today? Ime Udoka, who was suspended by the Boston Celtics for the entire season, is now going to become the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, per sources of course.

Just in case you’re unaware of the preceding events. Udoka led the Celtics to the NBA Finals last year, which was a bit surprising.
Then, out of the blue, he gets suspended by the team for the entire season a few weeks before it begins. Now, rumor has it, he was cheating on his wife with a member of the Celtics organization. We still don’t know all the details, but there may be more to the story than two people having a consensual affair together. Per sources, of course.
Which you would sure as hell hope there is because Udoka was suspended for an entire season. Not a game, or five, or 10. The ENTIRE SEASON!
You don’t suspend the guy who just led your team to the finals for the entire year unless some serious shit happened.
Which brings us to today’s news. If what he did was so messed up that he was suspended for the whole season, why the hell is he being hired by another team?

This is just further proof that there is zero shame in sports. Can you help us win games. That is the only question that truly matters in these interviews.
Have you been convicted of a felony, do you have references we can call, are you a protected veteran? None of that matters.
Bottom line, will my team win more games with you a part of it? Boom you’re hired.
It’s a no brainer for the Nets, right? He can’t be any worse than Steve Nash, who had them cruising to a 2-5 start.
The Nets and Nash had agreed to mutually part ways, per sources of course. Which makes sense. If I had to coach Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons on a nightly basis, I’d want out, too.
