Khabib Nurmagomedov made it clear that he has no plans to coach The Ultimate Fighter against McGregor, even if the UFC offers him $5 BILLION. During a recent interview with Brett Okamoto from ESPN MMA the 28-0 UFC superstar stated that he finished his business with McGregor on October 6th 2018.

“It’s done. Everything is done. October 6 I finished him and I finished everything about him. Even if they give me $5 billion, even if they gave me UFC, I would never do this. This is good attention for him. I have new challenge, Dustin Poirier and now Justin Gaethje. We will see who is going to be next but I don’t think it’s going to be Conor McGregor.”

What’s Next For The Ultimate Fighter?

The Ultimate Fighter has struggled for years. Moving forward with the show, Dana and crew need to come up with a new view of The Ultimate Fighter that makes fans want to each other for must see TV. Jones vs Adesanya on Fight Island coaching TUF would be GOLD. They despise one another, have amazing fight records, and it wouldn’t affect any title picture if Adesanya moves up a division.

Lets be honest, the UFC needs a refresher for The Ultimate Fighter. Jones and Adesanya is the move to make to keep MMA fans entertained and would help reboot the show. Without it, the series might crumble for good. Looking back at the last couple of seasons of TUF, the only one that stands out is Garbrandt vs Dillashaw and McGregor vs Faber. If the UFC is planning on bringing back TUF they need to do it on Fight Island to keep fighters safe and book top talent in the UFC.
