Multiple witnesses have now come forward to make statements regarding UFC superstar Conor McGregor’s sexual assault and indecent exposure case. According to a report from The Sun, the incident took place at a Corsica bar where McGregor allegedly exposed himself to a young married woman as she made her way to the bathroom. McGregor (who was in the area to compete in a 24-hour charity bike race) was arrested the day after the alleged incident but an investigation is still ongoing. Witnesses say the incident took place with McGregor’s bodyguard present during the alleged crime. The victim was on vacation with her husband during the alleged flashing.
McGregor Has Been Released From Police Custody, But This Case Is Far From Over…
McGregor was released from police custody on Saturday, but the investigation is still pending. Authorities are now looking into whether the alleged crime was filmed. Physical tests such as alcohol and drug tests are also possibly being used to determine if McGregor was intoxicated during the crime. McGregor’s manager Audie Attar has vigorously denied these allegations stating “I am irate and putting out a warning loud and clear: Conor McGregor is not and will not be a target for those seeking to score a headline or a payday,”

McGregor continues to make headlines for all the wrong reasons. It seems when he is not active and fighting he gets bored easily. These incidents that keep happening are very similar to Jones, Tyson, and many other fighters. When you reach the top of the mountain and you’re being paid millions its easy to get carried away. I’m in no way supporting Conor and his actions. I’m simply stating that this isn’t the first time we’ve seen something like this happen to a superstar. When you are surrounded by yes men it’s hard to see that what you’re doing is wrong. It’s time for McGregor to put the bottle down for good and seek help.
