NCAA Men’s Regionals Coming to Detroit.

Yesterday the NCAA announced Detroit and LCA will be hosting it’s tournament games for Division 1 Men’s Basketball.

Its always fun when Detroit gets to show the rest of the country how we can host a party. The Super Bowl in 2005, The Final Four in 2009, and MLB All Star Game in 2005 were all great times in the city. To be able to host the NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Regionals will give the city another boost!

Dave Beachnau, the Detroit Sports Commission Senior Vice President gave thanks to the many partners it took to make this happen:

“We are grateful to be selected by the NCAA to host the 2024 Men’s Basketball Regionals. A special thanks goes out to 313 Presents, Little Caesars Arena, Oakland University and the University of Detroit Mercy. Who helped land this incredible event. We are focused on working together to deliver an unforgettable experience for all of the student-athletes and fans.”

Howard Handle President of 313 Presents is very excited about this opportunity:

“As Detroit’s premier live entertainment company, 313 Presents, in partnership with the Detroit Sports Commission and host institutions. The University of Detroit Mercy and Oakland University could not be more excited for Little Caesars Arena to be selected. To host the 2024 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament Regionals. Bringing this elite event to our guests from near and far is the epitome of our mission. To provide access to amazing entertainment and alive moments inspired by the soul of Detroit. We look forward to showcasing the best in collegiate athletics at our world-class venue and creating memorable experiences for the student-athletes, coaches and fans.”

I cant wait for to see NCAA Basketball in Detroit in 2024. The Final Four was so much fun. I love these moments for our city. Although, we don’t know how the world will be, I’m excited!
