Detroit Lions Rookie Quintez Cephus is making his mark early.
Quintez Cehpus was a 5th round pick for the Detroit Lions. He was a 4th round pick in my Dynasty Fantasy Football League. The reason that is relevant is before any rookie draft, in dynasty, I spend a lot of time studying film and reading up on incoming players. I fell in love with 3 later round guys this year, Antonio Gibson, Anthony McFarland and Detroit Lions WR Quintez Cephus.

Antonio Gibson
Gibson has already benefited from a roster cut of Derrius Guice. He is getting praise from back up QB Kyle Allen:
Adrian Peterson is the top RB on the team at the moment. But he is fading and lacks the hands to be an every down back. Bryce Love is a 2nd year player who has some upside. Love doesn’t posses the explosiveness of Gibson. So I remain really high on Antonio to be the lead back by season end. Take a look at our Dynasty Fantasy Football Rookie Rankings.
Anthony McFarland
Reports out of Steelers camp are that Anthony McFarland is taking a lot of snaps with the 1st team offense. He’s even being match up a lot against former University of Michigan standout Devin Bush.
Even James Conner has been talking the Rookie up, “I’ve been in the room with Anthony McFarland, and he’s been doing awesome so far. He looks real good. He’s so fast, and he’s picking up protection and route concepts, so he’s making a lot of progress in the short amount of time that he’s been here. He’s gonna be a play-maker for us”.
My optimism for McFarland is still through the roof. Pick him up if you can in the early 3rd of DynastyFantasy Football Drafts.
Quintez Cephus
Now to the steal of the 2020 NFL Draft and the 2020 Hollywood Huddle Dynasty League, Quintez Cephus. I wrote and article about the Detroit Lions Draft, one of my highlights was Cephus. He has shown to be everything and more so far at Lions training camp.
Head coach Matt Patrica said this:
I truly think, if it wasn’t for some horrible criminal charges, Cephus would have been a 2nd or 3rd pick. He has incredible strength and size. I love that he is showing his skills early and will be a part of the Detroit Lions offense in 2020! I hope the Detroit Lions have found a diamond in the rough. Plus, it makes me look good. For that reason, Quintez Cephus is my new man crush.
