Week 12 Sit/Start List Fantasy Football

76

Fantasy Football Week 12 is here. These games can be make it or break games for the playoffs. Anson gives advice on who you should sit/ start this week.

The Thanksgiving games have passed leaving most fantasy football owners with very serious sit/start decisions to make in a must win Week 12. Add in lots of Covid issues throughout the league, and you’re left with a mysterious fantasy landscape. I’m here to help you solve any mysteries you might have on your roster…

QUARTERBACK

START Fantasy Football Week 12

Taysom Hill – NO

We got a glimpse last week of what Hill can do at the helm of the Saints offense. He moves the offense, can run the ball and he utilized the best wide receiver in football, all game long. He faces an average Bronco’s D which should provide plenty of positive stats for Taysom come sunday.

Also Consider Starting…
Tua Tagovailoa – MIA…He gets the Jet’s 29th ranked Defense
Tom Brady -TB... The dude is a monster after a loss. And he always steps up for games like this one against KC.

SIT

Mitch Trubisky – CHI

Trubisky looks to take back the starting gig in Chicago this weekend. He’ll be doing so against a Green Bay defense giving up the 5th least points to Green Bay. Plus Trubisky is Trash. Sit Hi

Also Consider Sitting…
Matt Ryan – ATL... No Julio Jones this week Sam Darnold – NYJ… Let him play his way into your lineup…if that’s possible

RUNNING BACK

START

Miles Sanders – PHI

Miles has been pedestrian since his 3 week layoff. I’m looking for that to end this week as he draws the Seahawks 23rd ranked defense against the run. I also foresee the Eagles leaning on the ground game to keep the ball out of Russell Wilson’s hands.

Also consider starting… Kareem Hunt/Nick Chubb – CLE…The Jaguars give massive points up to the RB position David Montgomery – CHI… He’s back. Concussion protocol passed

SIT

Melvin Gordon – DENT

he Saints have the #1 defense against the run in the NFL. That alone should be enough to scare you away. Gordon also shares the rock with Phillip Lyndsey and has become a TD dependent start only

Also consider sitting… Gus Edwards – BAL… The Steelers are #2 against the run LeVeon Bell – KC… I hope none of you were starting him in general

WIDE RECEIVER Fantasy Football Week 12

START

Justin Jefferson – MIN

Adam Theilen is out this week just in time for a Carolina Panthers team that has struggled containing #1 receivers. Jefferson has been great all season and now he is the #1. Expect a big game for the rookie wideout.

Also consider starting… Michael Pittman Jr – IND... He is the guy in Indy DJ Moore – CAR… He is the guy in Carolina

SIT

Deebo Samuel – SF

Deebo has been out since week 8 and the 49ers couldn’t get him back any sooner. Missing both Brandon Aiyuk and George Kittle, San Francisco should push the ball Deebo’s wall all day, but the Rams are capable of shutting that down. Once again…when a guy comes back from injury, let him play his way back into your lineup.

Also consider sitting… Stephon Diggs – BUF… The Chargers are the #1 defense against WR’s over the last 5 games. Allen Robinson – CHI… QB changes scare me

TIGHT END Fantasy Football Week 12

START

Hunter Henry – LAC

Henry draws the Bills this week…a team that has given up the 2nd most ppr points to the tight end position. The oddsmakers have the over/under around 53 points, which means this should be a shootout…and Henry is certain to be heavily involved.

Also consider starting… Evan Engram – NYG… He draws the 4th worst ppr Tight End defense in the Bengals Noah Fant – DEN… You can’t run against New Orleans…you gotta throw it to beat them

SIT

Tyler Higbee/Gerald Everett – LAR

Either of these guys would be a weekly TE1 if the other was shipped out of town. Until then, these two just keep stealing stats from each other. It doesn’t help that SF is giving up the 2nd least pts to the position. Sit ’em both

Also consider sitting… Rob Gronkowski – TB… 5 catches over the last 3 games. ‘Nuff said. Jonnu Smith – TEN… 22 total targets over his last 6 games doesn’t cut it for me
