Allen Robinson To Be Traded?

Current Chicago Bears, and former Orchard Lake St Mary’s, WR Allen Robinson looks to be heading out of Chicago.

Allen Robinson cleaned up his social media accounts this week. He took any reference to the Chicago Bears off. Now we wait to see whats next for the former OLSM standout. Robinson has been looking for a new contract all off season. It looks as if he will get the new contract. It just may not be with the Bears.

Allen Robinson could be the most under rated WR in all of football. If you look at the history of QB’s he had throwing him the ball, its amazing he has been able to maintain elite numbers through out his entire career.

Robinson caught 5 of his 9 targets on Sunday’s win over the Detroit Lions. He notched 74 yards receiving. Not the biggest day on record, but still a solid showing by the vet. He spoke a little before the game about his current situation.

“I’ve said that before. I’m not focused on that. I’m focused on the season. All that other stuff, I let it play out however it plays out. But that’s not of my concern right now.”

That may have been before the game, after is a different story. Robinson removed all mentions of the Bears off his social media. Which is an immature move in my eyes. But he needed to get someones attention. Lets hope it did!

Robinson has done it with no help.

Allen Robinson should be paid as a Top 10-20 guy in the league. He has earned that. Putting up monster numbers with Mitch Trubisky and Blake Bortles!

I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to watch him since his High School days at Orchard Lake St. Mary’s. Being an alum that still loves to go to games, I got to watch Robinson excel early on. He then went on to have a great career at Penn State. A Rob is a big time WR and I hope he is signed to a Big Time contract. Whether its with the Bears or not has yet to be seen.

Possible Landing Spots

A few spots I would love to see him land are Philadelphia, Green Bay or San Francisco. I think he can immediate make those offense elite. Of course, Id love to see him in the Detroit Lions uniform. I just don’t think we have the need or the GM to go get him.
