Woodward Sports is excited to put out a weekly power rankings for the NFL. Here is the Week 11 edition of our NFL Power Rankings.
1. Kansas City Chiefs (8-1)
Week 10 Ranking: 1
The Chiefs were on a Bye in Week 10, nothing really changes here. They’re still the most complete team in the NFL and will look to avenge their only loss of the season when they face the Las Vegas Raiders.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-0)
Week 10 Ranking: 3
The Steelers put together their most complete and dominating performance against rookie Quarterback Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. Pittsburgh boasts the best Front-Seven in the NFL, and one of the most dynamic receiving cores as well. The Steelers head down to Jacksonville in what should see them improve to 10-0.
3. Buffalo Bills (7-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 2
The Buffalo Bills only drop 1 spot even though they lost to the Arizona Cardinals. The offense was clicking and for all but the last play of the game – the Bills did a good job limiting Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins. Yes it was a horrible way to lose a game, but I’m not worried about the Bills which is why they fall to No.3 this week in our NFL Power Rankings.
4. New Orleans Saints (7-2)
Week 10 Ranking: 7
Sean Payton – that’s all I really need to say here. Yes the Saints will be without Quarterback Drew Brees for the next 4 weeks, but I expect them to win at least 3 of the games. Last season the Saints went 5-0 with Teddy Bridgewater – and I think they’re more than capable of winning 3 of the next 4 games. New Orleans moves up 3 spots and into the No.4 spot in our latest NFL Power Rankings.
5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 9
All of my concerns about this team came together against the Saints the week prior – but I have to say that when this team is on, they’re one of the more unbeatable teams. When the Buccaneers are playing well, they blow teams out and it ain’t even close. Their only two bad performances were against the Saints – so I can’t base their whole season on two losses to one team. Tampa Bay moves up 4 spots into the Top 5 in the NFL Power Rankings.
6. Green Bay Packers (7-2)
Week 10 Ranking: 6
The Green Bay Packers beat down an already beaten team in the 49ers. It was a convincing win – but didn’t change my mind about the team. I still have questions about how they perform when they’re backed into a corner. Not every game is going to be easy – especially playoff time. Green Bay moves up a spot in our NFL Power Rankings, and could be a top 5 team by the end of Week 10.
7. Miami Dolphins (6-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 10
The Miami Dolphins? You’re damn right. I love what Brian Flores is doing there – and Tua Tagovailoa played drive for drive against Kyler Murray. Now, realistically this team is still very far from making any noise in the playoffs – but at least we have a vision and blueprint of what Flores wants this team to look and play like. Miami make a jump from No.13 to No.10 in our NFL Power Rankings – who would’ve thought that before the year started?
8. Seattle Seahawks (6-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 4
I can’t defend this team anymore, no matter how good Russell Wilson may be. Why? Their defense is horrendous. Seattle have a very important game coming up this week against the Arizona Cardinals who already beat the Seahawks this year. Seattle could very well fall out of the top 10 if they lose a third-straight game.
9. Baltimore Ravens (6-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 5
It took horrible weather conditions to change the Ravens fortunes against the Patriots. Lamar Jackson has been playing well over the last few weeks, now it’s time for the team to support him. Ravens could make a strong push towards the end of the season.
10. Arizona Cardinals (6-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 11
Hail-Murray! It took a last-second deep ball connection to DeAndre Hopkins. Their win really didn’t mean much for me – we knew their offense was very good, it’s their defense that will keep them from being serious contenders in the NFC.
11. Los Angeles Rams (6-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 15
I loved what I saw from the Rams against Seattle this week. The Rams have the No.1 defense in the NFC and with the offense starting to hit their stride, watch out for the Rams this season. This was the most complete performance from the Rams since their Super Bowl loss to the Patriots.
12. Cleveland Browns (6-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 12
The formula for this football team is simple. Don’t turn it over, run heavy with Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt and don’t force Baker Mayfield to win you football games. I really like what Stefanski is doing over there, Cleveland could be a problem for teams in the playoffs.
13. Las Vegas Raiders (6-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 14
The Raiders are sitting comfortable at 6-3, but they visit the Chiefs this week and it could be very bad. Yes the Raiders beat KC earlier this season, but expect a different story this time around. The Raiders are aiming for a Wild-Card spot, and it’s nice to see Jon Gruden doing very well.
14. Tennessee Titans (6-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 8
The Titans took a big drop in my rankings this year. We know what they are, and teams are starting to adjust to what the Titans are as well. The Titans have lost 3 of their last 4 games, and play the Ravens and Colts next. Their division hopes could be gone as soon as two weeks from now, so we’ll see if the team can improve.
15. Indianapolis Colts (6-3)
Week 10 Ranking: 13
Another team that I see huge potential in, but are limited at the Quarterback position. The Titans are my favorites to win the division, but both teams have been inconsistent even though they sit with 6-3 records. Not too excited about this teams postseason capabilities, but we still have 7 weeks of football left.
16. Minnesota Vikings (4-5)
Week 10 Ranking: 17
I told you this team would be a pain in the ass – and right on cue the Minnesota Vikings dominated the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football.
17. New England Patriots (4-5)
Week 10 Ranking: 18
Poor weather gave the Patriots an opportunity to win against the Ravens. It was a solid win – but they are far from being a relevant team again.
18. Detroit Lions (4-5)
Week 10 Ranking: 22
The Lions got away with a win against the Football Team. Blowing a 21 point lead was something Lions fans have become accustomed to under Matt Patricia. Nothing to really be optimistic about other than the offense and their next few games.
19. Philadelphia Eagles (3-5-1)
Week 10 Ranking: 16
The Eagles are coming off a Bye-Week, and hopefully that means the team is getting healthier. Philly moves up 3 spots without having played a game really because how bad the teams in front of them performed on Sunday. The Eagles will visit the Giants, and can take full control of the division with a win.
20. Chicago Bears (5-5)
Week 10 Ranking: 19
I really don’t like this team. I said it last week, and I’ll say it this week. Nick Foles isn’t the answer and neither is Mitchell Tribusky. The Bears are flattering themselves with 5 wins this year – and I expect them to finish with no more than 7 or 8 wins. Matt Nagy needs to reset, admit failure with moving up for Mitchell and move on. The Bears are wasting a good defense and key offensive weapons.
21. San Francisco 49ers (4-6)
Week 10 Ranking: 21
This was expected. The 49ers are dealing with a ton of injuries in key positions. They’ll continue to fall in the rankings as I see them winning maybe 1 or 2 more games for the rest of the season.
22. New York Giants (3-7)
Week 10 Ranking: 28
The Giants beat the Washington Football team – giving them a feel good till next Sunday. The team just isn’t good enough, but they are good enough to move up past the Cowboys and Washington Football Team.
23. Carolina Panthers (3-7)
Week 10 Ranking: 20
Gosh, the Panthers went toe to toe with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Christian McCaffery looked amazing in his return – although he suffered a shoulder injury on one of the final plays of the game. This is what Carolina fans can look forward to under Matt Rhule, the team was creative on offense and special teams. The Panthers stay at No.20 this week.
24. Atlanta Falcons (3-6)
Week 10 Ranking: 24
Coming off a Bye-Week, the Falcons will give teams problems on the offensive side of the ball – but that’s about it.
25. Cincinnati Bengals (2-6-1)
Week 10 Ranking: 23
A bad performance against the Steelers, the team is far away from being competitive but they should be excited about Joe Burrow.
26. Denver Broncos (3-6)
Week 10 Ranking: 25
It’s a young team. That’s all I can really say. They’ve won and lost games and continue to commit turnovers. There will be a learning curve with this team, and they drop two spots this week after their loss to the Falcons.
27. Houston Texans (2-7)
Week 10 Ranking: 26
The Texans were not impressive against Cleveland in what turned out to be an ugly football game.
28. Los Angeles Chargers (2-7)
Week 10 Ranking: 27
The Chargers know how to lose football games, that trend will continue for the remainder of the season.
Week 10 Ranking: 29
A heartbreaking loss against the Lions after they overcame a 21-point deficit, but they’re still the Football Team so they stay at No.29 this week.
30. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-8)
Week 10 Ranking: 30
The Jaguars gave the Green Bay Packers a good game, that’s about it.
31. Dallas Cowboys (2-7)
Week 10 Ranking: 31
I don’t like this team, don’t like the coaching staff, don’t like the running back. Simple as that, without Dak they’re a very bad football team.
32. New York Jets (0-9)
Week 10 Ranking: 32
The Jets were able to avoid a loss this week – because they were on a Bye-Week.
