Woe is me.
I can’t breathe the air. I can’t eat salad and I can’t go to Taco Bell.
Can life get any worse?

The Canadian wildfires are hundreds of miles away so why does Michigan get the brunt of the smoke?
They are cleaning salad in shit water in Mexico so why does most of it come to Michigan? At last count there were more than 7,000 cases of cyclosporiasis across 34 states. More than 5,000 were reported in Michigan.
There are 8,239 Taco Bells across the United States so why are the only contaminated ones in Michigan?
Even former Michigan coach Sherrone Moore said he’d take his chances with young white women then deal with this.
I’ve never seen outside forces punish us this much. Unless you want to count NFL referees screwing the Detroit Lions. Or the University of Michigan which has never lost a football game without officials playing a hand.
My wife is an alarmist. We are still living life as if covid is a thing. I made fun of her when she said to stay indoors during one of the bad smoke days. Then I went outside and it smelled like the entire neighborhood was burning leaves. And my eyes felt like someone struck a match inside of them.
Add the gloomy grey skies and I immediately knew this was for real.
In the U.P., where it snows 200 inches a year, people brushed dust and soot off their cars as if it was snowing. Did you see photos of the Mackinac bridge disappearing into the smoke? I jokingly asked my neighbors if they moved because I could not see their house.
