The Top Five Most Hated College Programs
A week ago the gang at Woodward Sports said “Go Blue” when I asked them to name their top five college football teams.
Michigan won.
This week they are saying “Boo Blue” after I asked what team they hated most.
Michigan won that poll over Ohio State and Notre Dame.
That’s what happens when you place Spartans and Wolverines into a toxic mix. I married into a Spartan family, and my wife is an annoying Spartan. She kept asking why I thought Lions tight end Sam LaPorta was happy this weekend.
Silly me, I said because the Lions beat the New York Jets to go 2-1 on the young season.
“No,” she replied. “It’s because Iowa (his old school) beat Michigan.”
Her weekend is made when Michigan loses. Her school lost too, but she does not care.
Here are the top five most hated college programs according to the WSN gang.
1. Michigan: Michigan lost to Western Michigan, although officials bailed the Wolverines out.
The Wolverines cheated to win a national championship. Michigan hates Michigan State. These are the reasons I hear most about why the Wolverines are hated at WSN.
2. Ohio State: How could the Buckeyes not win? They make life miserable for Spartans and Wolverines alike.
3 Notre Dame: The Fighting Irish fan base is even more arrogant and entitled than the Wolverine fan base.
4 Penn State: The Nittany Lions act all big and bad. But they are mostly harmless. Look at their record against Michigan and Ohio State.
5. Oregon: The Ducks made it because they are better than Michigan.
